Sorry - long time no blog. I'd say I've been busy (which I have!), but I'm actually just rather lazy. Hmmm. Well - last week bumped into an old friend I haven't seen for AGES! Miss Beth Cohen, who's doing rather well for herself these days. Went to one of her gigs last week, and damn that girl is disgustingly talented. Thursday night involved a rather (not so) swanky trip to the Savoy - not so, because we were not really suitably dressed. Went with work to this industry quiz that we thought was film related, but actually something of an intellectual quiz (uh oh - did not bode well). We came last and got wooden spoons presented by Bamber Gasgoine (of University Challenge fame). Numerous glasses of wine, a yummy meal, many blagged drinks and a wrestling match at the front of the Savoy later, and I curled up into to bed groaning at the inevitable arrival of a hangover the next morning. Friday saw me back to the north (after a frantic packing session in the morning) and into the arms of Ma Babol. Saturday was my cousin Ian's 21st birthday. After the departure of grand-parents and such, funny fags were being passed round, and my littler cousin John (only 17!) had ordered a stripper for the party! OH MY GOD! My father was there for heaven's sake! Mind you, Ian seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself (unsurprisingly). John is awaiting him to return the favour.
Anyway, I think all my busyness has given me the cold I am currently nursing. Boo.
Am off to get my bones cracked shortly, so hopefully I shall still be walking tomorrow.
Tatty bye for now.
