I know - I am a neglectful parent to my blog-child.

Not been especially busy - more especially lazy. I can feel myself starting to climb out of that though, which can only be a good thing. Plus I've been writing, which is always a good sign.

So, still on the same job. Every week it's ending, and every week it starts again. Welcome to my unpredictable lifestyle. Back full time next week for at least 2 weeks, if not a bit more, so my bank account should be feeling happier soon. Been offered a job on their next one too, which would be perfect if it wasn't four months away. It's a possibility though - I'm certainly not ruling it out. Would also mean at last that significant bump up in wages. Woohoo.

Finally have Cheesy back around the flat, been watching lots of Series 3 of 24. The Yappety Dog was right - there are a lot of stupid decisions made. But it was suitably enthralling despite this. Will probably be another couple of years before I see any of series 4.

For those of you who haven't yet, try watching Fingersmith on BBC on Sunday - though might be a little late to join it. The book is great, though I'm a little surprised at the way they've adapted it so far. It could be a lot better.

Ooh, and Casanova comes to BBC1 on Monday at 9pm. I caught the first episode whilst at home the other week, and it really is quite interesting. Anything that has Peter O'Toole playing an aged Casanova is genius in my book.

Didn't think much of Dr Who - although Mr Eccleston was very good in the role, the special effects were dire.

Hmmm. I've been watching too much TV, haven't I?
