Ooh, and yes - Harry Potter is very good. Possibly my favourite episode so far. The death, while expected in terms of story arc, is delivered in such a surprising and ingenious way - jk definitely knows how to add drama to the moment. It's the first time I've ever welled up aswell. In the other books, Cedric's death was just over and done very quickly - you barely had chance to register it had happened. And for some reasons Sirius' just didn't effect me - possibly to do with the whole falling-through-the-veil thing, rather than being presented with an actual dead body - in fact, overall I found Sirius' exit rather lame. Which is why part of me keeps expecting his return in some form or another. The end of this book leaves a lot of loyalties questioned - but I still feel sure of certain things and believe I've read the subtler signs correctly - we'll see. The romance element, while predictably slushy in places, is mostly handled well. There is a lot of snogging being bandied around in this book (and not between who'd you'd expect at all). But then that's what it was like at school - everyone just snogging everyone. With sex of course. (Not me - I was a good little virgin). Anyway, apparently only 2 years for the last one. Bring it on.
